MASONIC NEWS.

CONSECRATION OF LODGE ROTOKCA An interesting Masonic function takes place this evening at. Rotorua. namely the opening of a new lodge under the New Zealand constitution. About 50 brethren left Auckland by the Rotorna express this morning , , including Bro. Murdoch McLean, Deputy Grand Master, and Bro. O. Nicholson, Grand Superintendent of the Auckland district, tosether with other officers of the Grand Lodge. At various stations on the way to Rotorua, other brethren joined the party, so that there vrill be a large gathering to-night at the consecration of Lodge Rotorua, No 153, N.Z.C. The first W. M. will be Mr William Hill, and the Past "Master mil attend from Te Ajoha,-^
