WELCOME TO WELLINGTON. (By, Telegraph.—Press Association.) , WELLINGTON, this day.Webb, the winner ,of the sculling ehampionshdp, returned by the ilonowai this, morning, arid was met by a large number of, enthusiasts, including many Wanganui residents. A formal reception will be given this afternoon.
The- Mayor of Auckland (Mr A. M. Myers) has forwarded the following telegram to the Mayor of Wanganui: V"Heartily congratulate Wanganui on having the worlds-sculling champion as its townsman.
