THE GERMAN PRESS.
CHANGING ATTITUDE!. CHARGES AGAINST THE . FRENCH.: (Received 8.37 a.m.) BERLIN - ,. August J. 4. i The " Berliner Tageblatt," and the "Kolnische Zeitung" ("Cologne Gazette") publish telegrams from Casablanca accusing tho French officers !of being the aggressors in the first affray. The message also states that the French troops fled, and were saved by a, Spanish detachment. ,
The publication of these statements has disturbed the French satisfaction due to Germany's non-interference 'in Morocco.
[The " Cologne Gazette," as the organ chiefly inspired by the Imperial Chancellor, has played a considerable part as a revealer of the inner hisitory of the past quarter of a century.]
