HIS MAJESTY'S THEATBE. His Majesty's Theatre -was crowded to the doors last night. The entertainment provided is good, original, refinedi. and refreshing. The audience expressed " their appreciation of the fare provided in no uncertain terms. The star item is undoubtedly that given by Charlene "and Chariene, which is certainly clever, foil of incident, and altogether delightfnL The universal verdict of. the audience "was that it "was too good to be missed. THE OPEHA HOUSE.. Seldom has a. programme of such excellence! as that now provided at the Opera House been seen in Auckland. •That this is realised by the public -was amply evidenced by the crowded audience last vight The programme includes a " Jaige number of refreshing items, any ose of which in itself is worth going a Jong way to see. It is a combination of "star" artists. Tom Armstrong is a . marvel—a. dancer, a comedian of the fet order and a unique vocalist of .exceptional versatility. The Sarrfow girls (HammoQ and Wyatt) are altogeOier deEghtfuL Their songs are quaint, pretty, and refined, and they iave certainly won the hearts of vaudemße patrons.
