AUCKLAND ATHLETIC CLUB.
The weekly sports meeting of the Auckland Athletic Cub last night was very largely attended, and everything worked very smoothly. Out of 18G handicapped, 156 accepted, and the lacing was interesting- The folio wing are the results:—Semi final: First heat —Stevenson, 104 yds, 1; time, 7 4-ss. Second heat—Gilmour, 4Jyds, 1; time, i 3-ss. Third heat—Allen. Siyds, 1; time, 7 3-ss. Fourth heat— Hindman, 9yds, li time, T 4-ss. Fifth heat—Melted, 7yds, 1; time, 7 4-ss. Sixth heat—Davis, 10yds, 1; time, 7 4-ss. Special round: First h eat — Stevenson 1, Allen 2; time, 7 4-ss. Second h. ea t Mestcd 1, Hindman 2, Davis 3; time, 7 3-os. Final: Mexted, 7yds, 1; Hindman, 9yds, 2; Stevenson, 10yds, 3; Davis, lOj^ 3 - ---4; Allen, SJyds, 5. Won by a foot. Time, 7 4-os.
