THE DOMINION OF NEW ZEALAND.
(To the Editor.)
Sir, —As New Zealand is really a name of Dutch origin, may I suggest that the new name be entirely British, such as "The Dominion of South" or "Southern Britain,"' and this to include all the island territory which is under the direct control of the present colony. I would like through your columns to commend this to the powers that be. —I am, etc., W. D. H.
