An uneasy feeling prevails in Germany owing to the French having five years' start in air navigation.

PARIS, July 17. . The war balloon La Patrie is stationed, at Verdun.

The Government is constructing a fleet of similar air ships, and is energetically training men in air navigation.

[La Patrie, a very large dirigible balloon, recently made many successful flights across Paris at the rate of eighteen miles an hour against the wind.]
