RAGLAN ITEMS.
The second annual meeting of the Raglan Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd., was held on the 13th last, Mr. W. J. Henry, chairman of directors, presiding. There was a good attendance of shareholders. The chairman, in moving the adoption of the directors' report and balance-sheet, congratulated supylici-i on having had another successful suiaou. The factory had been open for 37 weeks, and the amount of livt c_i* diiii.-u£u.ct.urcil was 27½ per cent more tban the previous year. The grade had uteu good. The manager (Mr. J. Milne) w.is capable and p_n3tu.king, and the directors ha J secured his services for the coming season. The sum of £52 9/2 had been written off for depreciation, and £91 1/11 paid into the sinking fuud. During the year a coituge had been buiit for the uiauagur, and several Improvements aud additions made to the factory. The pront and lots account showed a credit baJance of £292 11/1. Out of this amount the directors pro-posed to make further payments on butter-fat received from shareholders as follows, riz:— 2Jd per lb for September, 19tw, and May, ISO 7, and lid per lb for the remainder of the season, making the average price for butter-fat during the season S.Sd. and to carry forward £54 15/6. The motion was seconded by Mr. J. Dent, and carried unanimously. A bonus of £10 was votefl to the chairman in recognition of his serrlces during the year. Also £15 to the manager. Of the directors Messrs. J. Belcher and E. Watkins retired by rotation. Mr. Watklns declined re-nomtnar.ion. aud Messrs. J. Belcher and W. Stanton were elected. Mr. James Dent was appointed auditor. A vote of thanks to the dirpcto'-s for tbelr services was carried by arolarafltion. At a meeting of directors held afterwards Mr. W. J. Henry was reelected eh air ma n.
