AUCKLAND SLAUGHTERMEN'S DISPUTE.
THE MAYOR APPOINTED CHAIRMAN. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, this day. The special Conciliation Board appointed to consider the dispute between the Auckland butchers and slaughtermen employed in the local trade having failed to agree upon a chairman, the Minister for Laboux has appointed Mr. A. M. Myers, Mayor of Auckland, to the position.
