LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL APPOINTMENTS. RE-AKRANGEMENT OF PORTFOLIOS.

WELLINGTON, this day. A lengthy or Cabinet was held to-day. The Premier, interviewed later, stated that it had been decided to re-appoint the Eons. Reid and Jenkinson to the Legislative Council, and that a redistribution t>f portfolios would be arranged in a day or two.
Sir Joseph said he expected the Land Bill would be brought down during this week.
