During the gale on Wednesday last the goods-shed on the end of the wharf at North Manukau Head, with the platform round the shed and part of the tramway connecting the wharf and the shed, were washed away. Some £20 or £30 worth of goods belonging to Mr Farley, of Karekare Bay, and which were stored in the shed, were lost.
