V.M.C.A. MUSICAL EVENINGS
Another of the winter series of fortnightly social musical evenings was held at the Young Men's Christian Association Rooms on Saturday, when a "ood number of members and friends were present. Mr Fredk. E. Cory (ChairmaD of the Social Committee) presided, and the following programme was provided, and received full appreciation: Selections by the Y.M.CA. Orchestra (conductor, Mr England; song. -The Diver," Mr Lea Heath; son«s, "Leonore," and "An Evening Song," Mr Thiers; violin solo, 'Air de Ballet," Mr Heath; songs, "Doreen" and "The Old Rustic Bridge by the Mill, Mr Rutledjje; piano solo, selection, "Bohe-mia-n Girl."
