The body of William McGlashan, about fifty years of age. was found at his home in Forth-street this morning. The deceased was found sitting in a chair with a double-barrelled breech-loader between his legs in an attitude suggestive of suicide. McGlashan was single and is supposed to have had property both in Forth-street and at Woodkaugh. SIR JOBS HALL'S FUNERAL. CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Sir John Hall's funeral yesterday was very largely attended, nearly every resident of the district for miles around! I Hororata being present. Drays drawn by cart horses carried whole families in the funeral procession from Coalgate to the cemetery. Bishop Julius and Archdeacon Scott conducted the service. The names of the prominent representative people present, and the list of senders of wreaths fill a whole column in the morning papers.
