At the fortnightly meeting of the Auckland Lodge of Druids, held on Monday night, P. A. Bro. T. G. Sarjeant, of the Star of New Zealand Lodge, Lower Hutt, was presented with a handsome case of pipes, suitably engraved. Mr. Sarjeant came up here several months ago to take up a position with the Auckland Butter Company, and the present has "been sent to him through ithe Auckland Lodge by the members vf the Star of New Zealand Lodge, in which Bro. Sarjeant did much in the cause of Druidism. Bro. W. Hunter, with well-chosen remarks, made the presentation on behalf of the Southern Lodge, and Bro. Sarjeant suitably responded, remarking that the gift was all the more appreciated coming to him after an interval of so man; months.
