GERMAN DIPLOMACY.
Relations With Great Britain. BERLIN, June 26. The " Kiel Gazette," a semi-official publication, asks why Germany should not conclude with Japan an alliance similar to that between Japan and Prance. The paper adds that Germany could ! all the more willingly do so. inasmuch as she would always respect China's integ- ) rity by virtue of the principal of an ] open-door policy, which the Kaiser deI sired to defend at Tangier. The same journal declares that the relations between Great Britain and Germany, which are already improving, have been rendered completely cordial by King Edward's invitation to the Kaiser to visit England in the autumn.
