BUILDING SOCIETY APPROPRIATION.
A meeting of the Auckland Co-opera-tive Terminating Building Society was held last night for the purpose of making appropriations. In the first gToup ballot of £400, No; 676, having only one share, took £200, and No. 131, holding two shares, took £400, making £600 for the group. In the second group, a sale by tender of £400, the highest tender was £55 10/, the tenderer taking £400. In the third group, ballot of £400, No. 980, having two shares, took the full amount. In the fourth group, No. 770, having only one share, took £200, and No. 423, having two, took £400. In the fifth group, No. 349, holding two shares, took the full £400. In the sixth group, No. 612 took the full £400, and in the eighth, -No. 604 took the same amount. In the tenth group the highest tender was £67 5/, the tenderer taking £200, the next tender, £67 3/, taking a similar amount.
