Leys, on behalf of those assembled, presented Mr Bryee with ft purse of sovereigns, as an expression of the kindly feeling entertained by thoss associated with him. Mr. A. S. Reed, sub-editor, spoke on behalf of the literarystaff, and Mr. W. Wright on behalf of the compositors. Reference was made by the various speakers to the high respect in which Mr. Bryee was held, and also to his very lengthy connection with the Frees of this city.
