The barque Northern .Chief, from Newcastle and Sydney, has been iv the Gulf for the past three days, being unable to get up to the harbour owing to the con-txar-y,winds; She was.anchored a Uttle inside the Rangitoto reef as we went to press this afternoon. THE MOURA. The local office of the Onion Co. 1b In receipt of telegraphic advice stating that the weather at Wellington this morning was too boisterous for the Monra to take her departure for the North, and her sailing tn the meantime has been fixed for two o deck this afternoon. She may not be expected to arrive at Auckland before Friday afternoon at the earliest. THE ONYX. The barque Onyx has left Melbourne for Auckland. After discharging .here sne leads a general cargo for Noumea. Thence she proceeds to Surprise Island to load up with guano for -Auckland. THE CASABfcANCA. The barque Casablanca arrived from Geelong at 0 p.m. yesterday, after a good passage of 14 days from beads to beads. She left Ueelong on May 13, and had light northerly winds aud fine weather until the 22nd, followed by strong .westerly winds until Cape Maria Van Dieinen was sighted on Saturday morning last. On the passage down the c-osist a strong S. W. gale was experienced. The barque made the gulf on Sunday, and came into port as above. The Casablanca win berth at the llobson-strect wharf to discharge, and on completion sails for the Kaipara to load timber for Sydney.

THE JESSIE CRAIG. A barque arrived in the Gulf early this morning, and wav beating up towards the harbour this afternoon, tint owing to the hazy weather is was impossible to identify her. It is thought likely that she will prove to be the Jessie Craig, which left Melbourne on the 18th iust. for Auckland.
