C.M.G. for General Babington. LONDON, November 9. The Birthday Honours list contains few names of interest to the colonies. King Haakon of Norway receives the Order of the Garter. Mr. Evans, Premier of Tasmania, and Major-General Babington, late commanding the New Zealand forces, arc made Companions of the Order of St. Michael and St. George.
