ILLUSTRATED GUIDE TO AUCKLAND.

A notable publication has just been issued from the press, and is now available. This consists of 52 views of Auckland city and suburbs, published in a handsome cover for two shillings. The pictures include seve_il very fine fullpa°_ views of the. wharf, one of these pictures showing five large ocean-going steamers discharging at one time. Queenstreet has been photographed in sections almost from end to end, and there are fine views of Customs-street, Fort-street, Shortland-stre.t, and Wellesley-street. The Free Public Library, St. Matthew's Church, some of the most notable works of Maori art in the Museum, Government House, the Hospital, Albert Park and the Domain Gardens —all form pleasing pictures. Among the suburban views are beautiful photographs, of " Mount Eden, Cornwall Park, Mount Hobson, Mount Albert, Devonport, and Takapuna, while further afield Waitakerei Falls and Waiwera suggest to the visitor ! excursions within easy reach of the city. This aamirable souvenir of Auckland is published at the low price of two shillings. It was executed at the works of the Brett Printing and Publishing Company, and is obtainable from all booksellers.
