DIVORCE.

DUNEDIN, Thursday
In the Divorce Court to-day the case of Muirhead v. Muirhead and Gaw (husband's petition) was concluded. Tho petitioner alleged that respondent had misconducted herself with the corespondent at Peliehat Bay Station, of which co-respondent was stationmaster. The petitioner di. covered them by looking through the windows of the station. The jury, after a long retirement, returned when the foreman reported that on tho first issuo, as to whether the respondent was guilty of adultery with the co-res-pondent, nine said "no," and three "yes." On the issue, " Did the co-respondent commit adultery with the respondent?" one said " yes," and eleven said " no." The petition was dismissed, the Chic? Justice remarking that it was an extraordinary verdict. So far as the first issue was concerned, it was stated that a motion would be made for a new trial.
Decrees nisi were granted in the cases of Grey v. ,Grey (wife's petition), and Crook v. Crook .wife's petition), both on the grounds of desertion.
