YESTERDAY. (Before Mr District-Judge Kettle.) Neighbours.—The charge against Joseph Henry Body that he used provoking and ' insulting language to a neighbouring settler named John Currie Gordon, at Dairy Flat, was further investigated. The defendant denied that he used the language credited to him. His Worship advised the parties to shake hands and be friends, and adjourned the case for a month.
