UIPORTATION OF ITALIANS. FEDERAL GOVERNMENT'S CONSENT. (Received 10.28 a.m.) MELBOURNE, this day. The Central Sugar Mill Company, of Queensland, with the consent of the Federal Government, is importing Italians to fork the canefields. The company is ! paying them 25/ a week and rations for i 58 hours' work. \ [An earlier cable announced the introfaction of six indentured Italians but apparently the arrangement is for a big j influx to replace the Kanakas.]
