Richest Woman's Trousseau.

FRAULEIN KB.UPF'S BRIDAL DRESSES COST ONLY £50,

The trousseau of Fraulein Bertha Krupp, recently married, and who is the richest woman in the world, having an annual income approximating a million sterling, is very small. It consists of one wedding-dress of lilac-coloured crepe de chine, one evening dress of marine blue cashmere cloth, one blue and red eilk evening dress, one brown cloth walking dress, and riding costume, one mantle for evening wear, and one yellow • cloth mantle for afternoon drives.

These five dresses and two mantles of the simplest stylo, complete Framlem Bertha's wedding outfit, and the total cost does not exceed £50. Frau Krupp purchased an equally modest trousseau for Fraulein Barbara at the same cost.

Although the modest purchase is quite consistent with the remarkable simplicity with which the girls have been brought up, the newspapers nevertheless complain that their wedding outfit ought to have been more proportionate to their vast wealth. Uncomplimentary comparisons are drawn between the Krupp girls' outfits and those of the daughters of wealthy Englishmen.
