THE ABANDONED STEAMER.

: SYDNEY, November 6. The shipmasters connected with the port of Sydney have presented Captain j Jolly, of the Port Stephens, with a purse I of sovereigns as a mark of sympathy with him. The s.s. Moeraki, which arrived at Duncdin from Hobart. Melbourne and the Bluff yesterday, spent 24 hours searching for the abandoned steamer Port Stephens. The search extended from 140 miles south-east of the Bluff to 12 miles south of the Snares, but no trace of the derelict steamer was seen.
