The monthly meeting of the Whangarel Borough Council was held last evening. . North. Auckland Charitable Aid Board.—■ ' fhe Mayor was appointed Borough Council representative on tho Board. Congestion of Population.—The Council, in answer to the request of the ,chief health officer (Dr. Mason), decided to supply a return in reference to the matter of congestion of population, as required by the Muncipal Corporations Act.
