SUDDEN DEATH AT CAMBRIDGE

CAMBRIDGE, this day.

Yesterday morning Mrs. Helen Marfl Hally expired suddenly at Cambridge, the cause beins heart disease. She tlie widow of Mr. John Mcßobbie Hally, who died a little over two years ago. Mr. Edgar Payze. who boarded with her, went to have a bathe in the river, ana when he returned about 11 am. he found her lying dead upon the floor of the kitchen! Dr. Keid happened to be passing and pave a certificate as to the cause of death, Mrs. Hally having b-een ailing for the past fortnight. Cm Saturday evening she appeared to be distressed. The announcement of " et death caused a sensation. It was mentioned in ail the churches, and the evening service bells were muffled, tne "Dead Ma.rch" was played on the chun* organs, and by the town band "J*,® domain in the aiternoon. Mrs. am was a member of the Presbyterian Church, and a soiree which was w have been held to-morrow evening n& been postponed for a week. She residea in Cambridge for upwards of 30 yea" and wa-s much respected. She bad large connection by marriage, but non of her relatives are in the colony. I™ funeral takes plane to-morrow. MJ m quest is to be held.
