ROMANTIC MOTOR-CAR MARRIAGE.

The "London Mail" records a romance marriage that has taken place at a Surrey registry office between Henry Fellows, bachelor, mechanical engineer, aged 30, and Violet Helen Farrar, spinster, 22 years of ace. On the morning of August 14 X powerful red Daimler motor-car, it is stated, drew up at the registrar's office, Norbiton, witli only the chauffeur and a lady in it. The chauffeur was in motoring costume, and the lady wore a dust-cloak and white motor-veil. They entered the office, and the chauffeur presented to the registrar the license empowering him to marry his lady passenger, Miss Tiolet Helen Farrar, to ihim, John Henry Fellows. Due notice had been given on August 3 and posted in the office in the usual way.

The couple had come from Brighton that morning. The bride is the eldest daughter of Mr. S. H. Farrar, and a niece of Sir George Farrar, both brothers being wellknown South African millionaires. Miss Far-ar .had left her home at Brighton In her father's car to be married to the fami'y; chauffeur, a young man of humble origin.

Mr. Fe."ows has stayed for two years at Thames Ditton, and for a considerable time has been e-nployecL as chauffeur by Mr. Farrar. During July and part of August Mr. Farrar, with his two daughters, was .staying at the Manor House, Cookham Dene, fas, the river season, the Manor House overlooking the Thames. Miss Farrar, a tall, handsome young lady, was frequently out in her father's motor car about the neighbourhood. Mr. Fellows, who is an expert driver, often tai'ng her long distances. The acquaintance, from that of mistress and servant, ripened, into affection, ac'd finally into love r .and Miss Farrar has now thrown in her lot with, the chauffeur, the young couple are still on their honeymoon in the South of England. The lady has no money of her own, and no cona-m-nnication has passed between the lady : aiid her family-since the wedding. ......
