CHRISTCHURCH, tnia day.
At 10.30 last evening an electric car collided with a hansom cab at the corner of St. Asaph-street and Colombo-road. The cab was driven by Fredk. Reid, of linwood, and contained three passengers. The vehicle was completely smashedReid was thrown partially under the car. He received a severe wound on the back of hii head, and was also injured about the body. He died in the hospital early this morning. The passengers in the cab sustained no serious injury. Reid waa a man about 67 years of age.
