CYCLE ACCIDENT.

A young man, named William Higgins, met with a painful accident this morning, as the result of a fall irom his bicycle. He was coasting down Albertstreet about seven o'clock, when the top bar of his machine snapped, and the rider was thrown over the handle bar on to the road. Bystanders quickly rushed to his assistance., and found him unconscious. His face was badly disfigured, and there was a nasty cut over one of the eyes. He was attended to by Dr. Hardie-Neill, who ordered bis removal to the hospital as soon as he recovered consciousness, which was about half an hour after the accident. He was admitted to the hospital in a somewhat dazed condition, but was able to walk up the steps to the building , . The hospital authorities state that there is nothing in his condition at present to indicate anything of a serious nature.
