(To the Editor.* Sir, —I cannot quite follow your correspondent Antitoxic in his objection to my warning in a recent issue. The indisputable fact* arc as follows: — Ist. There is a certain plant growing in swampy places in the northern part of the North Island known by the name of whaoriki or T\a.criki. and weil known to yield a poisonous honey; lind. This plant blossoms and yields its honey in the autumn: 3rd, Serious accidents and loss of life have occurred on different occasions iv districts wide apart through eating honey talcen from wild V>?e nests m the aurnmn in the neighbourhood of t.liis plant.
