The "Temps" says the Czar realises that the work of reform must be continued without hesitation, despite the assassination of the Grand Duke Sorgius. The newspaper add? the comment that it would not be equitable to vi?it the crimes of a few upon the whole of the Russian people.
TOKIO. February 20
The newspapers oi Tokio all refer to the assassination, and deplore that such an aefc should have been committed. They ascribe it to tyranny, and express the hope that it will ba fruitful of good. The state of affairs in Russia, they say. shows that Japan is lighting the Government, and not the people of Russia.
