yir. -John Norton-, ea.se. in which he challenges the election of the Lord Mayor tMr. Taylor), has been dismissed with tive guineas cost against him. The magistrate held that the evidence disclosed nothing more than an ordinary bnsmes3 transaction. Mr. Taylor, in supplying timber for the eleetri ligation of the city, had acted in ;i bona-fide manner. Mr. Norton announced his intention of taking th* case to the Full Court.
