The s.s. Ngapu'ai arrived here this morning from Whangarei. after a calm passage. The excursionists had a very enjoyable ou»;:ng yesterday, driving in buggies to Whareora and Kamo, a distance of fifteen miles altogether. The caves at the former p]ace greatly interested the party. In one of" the cha.ni pars a photograph of some of the members vras taken by magnesium light. After a delightful but dusty drive to Kamo a. bath "in the soda springs was most refreshing.
