VICTOIIIA CRriSLSG CLUB'S PICNIC

The Victoria Cruising Club's second anuual picnic, held at Kohimarama, on Saturday afternoon, was attPTideii by a iarcre nnmber of peeplc , , while there were upwards of fifty of the club's yachts anchored Iα rhe bay. The visitors were conveyed to acd from the f-Try by small boats, the yachtsmen assisting with the larger dingheys. During the afternoon sports were h*ld on the beach, the result being as follows::—Committee Racp. 100 yds: 3. Sullivan 1. J. Boons;ra 2, A. Deatin 3. Married Man's Race. 7oyri>=: A. Deakin I, .T. Sullivan 3, J. Roonstra* 8. Married Ladies' Race was won by Mrs Clarke. Singl* , Ladles' Race won ensilv by Miss I. Nfwcombo. 200 yds Open Handicap: R. Mobberly 1. The dinghy race was won by J.
