On Monday next, at Paget-street, Ponsonby, Mr Louis Lewis sells the whole of the household furniture of Mr Ernest Moore, who is leaving for England shortly. A petition for bankruptcy has been filed by Herman Ruppa, storekeeper, of Te Kopuru. The total liabilities are £7C9 9/2, the assets amount to £404 15/7, there thus being a deficiency of £304 13/7. ' Arthur St. George Forbes, storekepper of Paeroa, filed a petition in bankruptcy to-day. The bankrupt states his liabilities amount to £SGI 3/9, and the assets £410 14/11, deficiency £150 8/10. The assets include stock in trade £201 S/6, book debts estimated to produce £165, cash in hand £23 0/5, furniture £21. Tlie principal creditors are Tanfield, Potter, and Co. £435 18/ T. H. Hall and Co. £70 17/, Job nSchiscbka £9S 11/3.
