LAWN TENNIS.
Tbe ladies of Mount Edea Lawn Tennis Club gave their annual "At Home" on Thursday, when there was a large attend* :iace on the pleasant courts, the weather being beautifully fine. Those present Included a. number of players from other elttbs. Games were arranged between two grades of players, and the final in the first grade was contested between the Misses 0. Gorrie and Si. Metcalfe and the Misses Gray and, Davy. The former played steadily and won by 9 games -to 7. The Misses M. Prater and Winter played the Misses Philcoi and Wilts in the second grade, the former -winning by 9 points to 6. Afternoon tea was served, and the gathering was quite a
