Mr W. V.Xaaeer, v'h.K., also CiUii.lied succedsiully. Value were on liie whole good, and the classes were exceptionally well tilled. Mr Donald McKlnntin-B Duke or Ormund, bred hv Mr W. Taylor from stock previously owned by Mr A. Kltltl, M.H.8., was ueservedlv awarded champ.on honours. The championship in the female division went to Mr A. i. Kidd's Duchess, who claims Lord Godolphln for her siro. She is a shapely cow, and well deserved the honour. In Jerseys, Mrs I<\ L. Wright was again successful, and annexed both championships that of the male division going u> Wild Cherry, and the female to Viola's Duchess. Hoth are descended from Lord Braybrooke's famous herd. Giade Jerseys ' were fairly numerous and of average quality. Pedigree Ayrshires were Jiot numerous but the quality was good. Messrs Makgill and Middleton took champion honours In bulls, and Mr \V. T. I'ellow in cows. Messrs C. T. Bariball and 13. liarribail were the principal exhibtors in Lincoln sheep, the former taking both champion tickets. In Shropshire Downs, Mr tieo. Ballard and Mr B. I'.arriball were the only exhibitors, and were awarded one championship each. The former, however, annexed six first prizes and four seconds. The borne and dairy sections were well filled, and the quality generally was good. In the former, Mrs A. J. Lawrie, the judge, was delighted with the quality of some of the exhibits, notably, .sponge sandwich, cakes, and the winning plum pudding. The Helvetia Ostrich Company had an excellent exhibit of ostrich feathers made up Into stoles, collarettes, evening- capes, fans, muffs, etc., the principal colours being champagne and natural. Thpse made a "magnificent display, and reflect great credit on Mrs jlartin. the lady in charge. The Empress Needle Company anil Messrs Dennes Bros., jewellers, also had creditable displays. The usual implement exhibitors wore present, and made a highly creditable exhibition. The management of the show is all that could be desired, for which credit is due to the different members of committee, notable of whom are Messrs C-eo. Ballard .(president), J. Roulston. Yurd, and John Schlaopfer (vice-presidents), J. G. Rutherford, 0. Shipherd, E. Allan. J. Johns. I. A. Motlou. Ja's. Totter, W. Reid. E, Billcey, A. ,1 I-nwrle, W. Booker, J. W. Howard; W. T. Cotter, and J. Kennelly. Mr Johii Patterson had charge of the secretarial duties,, and fulfilled them with credit. Mr J. G.
