Many questions have been asked in Parliament with respect to the administration of Sir Anthony MaeDonnell, as Un-der-Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland. Sir Anthony i 3 accused of. having favoured the Nationalist party. The Chief Secretary ror Ireland (Mr. Wnydham) stated that the Government had informed Sir A. MaeDonnell that his assistance to Lord Dunraven in preparing the recent devolution scheme was indefensible. Sir A. MaeDonnell, added Mr. Wyndham, had subsequently disassociated himself with the movement. .
