Stewards' Handicap — Hinetapuariki, 7.10, 1; I'aria, 7.13, 2; Needlework, 9.4, 3. The only starters. Won by a head. Tlmo, 1.31 4-5. Dividend, £2 19/.
Hurdles.—lnspan, 11.6. 1; Waiinata, 9.5, 2; Hakaria. 12.0, 3. Also started —Roseplot, and Mnki'tu, both of which fell, the latter having his neck broken. Inspan won easily by two lengths. Time 2.55. Dividend, £2 ir./.
