WELLINGTON WOOL SALES. (By Telegraph.-—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The fourth wool sale of the season was held to-day. The number of bales catalogued was 2200. The prices realised for crossbred were fully a half-penny to a penny a pound below those ruling at the last sale. Lambs' wool showed a decline of a half-penny.
LONDON CABLE. ' (Received 9.4 a.m) LONDON, February 15. Consols. S9 11-16. Copper, on spot, £67 10/; at three months, £67 17/6. Tin, on spot, £132 5/; at three months. £130 12/6. Lead, £12 8/0. At the tallow auctions 686 casks were offered and 420 sold. Prices are unchanged. FROZEN MEAT MAHKET. FURTHER FALL IN PRICES. NAPIER, this day.
The C.C. and D. Co. received the following cable to-day from London: "The frozen meat market W very depressed. There ■has been a further fall in value at i<l per lb in North Island mutton, in lamb of id, and In fore-quarters of beef Id. Quotations are as follows: Mutton: Canterbury, 4|d; Napier, Wellington and North Island, 3|d. Lamb, first quality, od. B«ef: Hind-quar-ters, 3Jd; fores, 2|d.
