> (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) CHRISTCHURCH, Saturday. The attendance for the second day of the C.J.C. summer meeting was somewhat better than before, and speculation was brisker. The racing was of an interesting character. The Valdhurst stable provided the. favourite for the Richmond Plate. Munjoet, despite his harden of 10.0. bcin_r made an odds on favourite... Ingleneuk slipped her field at the start, and repeating her first day's performance, where she ran' very psomiuently for five fnriougs, held Munjoet comfortably all the way home. The filly is the first of Benzoin's stock to earn a" winning bracket, and she is obviously speedy over short courses.
