The following is Captain Edwin's -weather forecast for 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day:—"Moderate to strong easterly winds, glass little movement." The mail steamer Sonoma, from 'Frisco, -cviil not arrive at Auckland uqtil Tuesday week next owing to detentions on the voyage. She was about 12 hours late in leaving 'Frisco, and a cable received to-day states that she did not leave Honolulu until 10 a.m. on Thursday last, which makes her aboat 17 hours behind time.
