Aβ International Scheme. ROME, February 10. I King Emmanuel, at the instance of Mr. David Lubin. an American, has invited the Powers to a conference in Rome in . M.ay for thp purpose of erftablLshiiig;. mainly at his expense, an International Chamber of Agriculture in Rome, for the collection and diffusion of informwtion calculated to promote the profitable and economical distribution of produce, and thns strengthen the bonds of inter-de-pendence uniting the nations. The scheme contemplates affording protection against the abuses of transport and other trusts, establishing reasonable control over the middleman, and dealing with diseases of animals and plants, and the regulating of emigration.
