AUSTRALIAN LABOUR AND SOCIALISE

A. ».in» * * trr.v. BECIiAjaATION (By Cable.—Press Association.—Cey?tl_3U) (Received 9.50 a^B.) SYDNEY, this day. Mr. Kelly, a. delegate at the recsnt Political Labour Conference, has strongly denounced in the Roman Catholic press the socialistic decisions of the conference. The Federal State Labour party, he says, is socialistic, and its purposa is to reconstruct; society, and seize hold if it can of all the wealth, of all the land, of all the means of production and distribution in Australia. An Australian co-operative 1 Commonwealth, based on socialistic j principles, adds Mr. Kelly, i 3 the emblazoned motto on the banner of the Labour party. There was one satisfaction now—that the people of Australia knew the policy the Labour party would pursue if it were placed by the electors in power either in thia State or in the Commonwealth. It was the duty of each elector seriously to consider "he pronouncement made. 'It is the duty in particular of those, like myself, who in the past have, I by oar labour and our money, supported the Labour movement to seriously reflect whether they can any longer follow a party which is in favour of a form of socialism absolutely repulsive to our inclinations. *
