STOLEN ARTICLES IDENTIFIED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Te Awaite murder case was con- j tinued to-day. Mr John Crawford, a shepherd employed on the Stoney Creek Station, stated that a telescope and kharki : jacket found on the accused were like similar articles stojen from Ms whare between January 30 and February 2. The other articles were also stolen. He identified the telescope by certain marks on it. John, Grant, overseer on the outstation at Te Awnite, deposed to seeing j the accused in the vicinity of Cole's Creek about the first week in February.
