The Board adopted the recommendation. A Press Association telegram states that a 32ft motor launch, built by Mr Rowan, of Wellington, to the order Of Mr W. Nicholson, for the use of ex? cursionists on Lake Rotorua will be shipped North to-day. The total cost of the vessel was £325. The Parnell Croquet Club gave a croquet party at the club greens yflsterday afternoon to the members of the Grafton, Remuera and Mount Eden Clubs. Progressive croquet was played on seven greens—the tennis lawns being used to provide the extra greens.
