MR VALENTINE VOUSDEN.
At His Majesty's Theatre on Thursday, Priday. and Saturday next Mr Valentine Vousden, the much-travell-ed entertainer, will present his entertainment, entitled "Two Hours- of Hearty Laughter." Mr Vousden is a mimic, ventriloquist, elocutionist, and a bmnorist, who has appeared with snecess in almost every city of the Engrfch-speaking world. "Two Hours of Hearty Laughter" is said to be a unique and refined entertainment. The box ptan i 3 on view at Wildman and Axey*sOn Wednesday evening, Mr Leon Roche, who is well-known to the Auckland theatre-going public, gives an, open-ail - vocal and rnstrumental concert in the Alexandra Park. The programme is to be of a particularly varied and attractive character, the items including numbers by a good orchestra, operatic selections, serious and part songs, dances, and instramentaJ solos. Mt Roche himself, wbo is a former member of the Carl Rosa Opera Company, will give two songs in the course of the evening.
