SUNDAY TRAINS FOR CHURCH CELEBRATIONS.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent) CHRISTCHURCH. this day. The local Nonconformist Churches are protesting against the action of the Railway Depart.-nent in agreeing to run excursion trains for the opening of the Roman Catholic Cathedral on Sunday next. The matter was referred to in the Primitive Methodist and Presbyterian Churches on Sunday, and more is likely to be heard of it.
