Mr. H. Munro Clark, after a trip to Europe, line savored his connection with tho Bank of Auetrahusin, and has been admitted us a partner into the old-es-tabliehcd firm of merchants, Messrs. Keegner, Langguth & Co., of this city, \ Cnnt Johansen, a foreign seaman engaged on the ketch Llzzette, was fined f 1 and costs, a total of £2 8/, this afternoon, by Mr McCarthy, 8.M.,' for persuading two Bailors to desert from the steamer Tomoana, The steamer had lost eight seamen by desrtlon at the end of December, Johansen was prosecuted at the instance of the Marine Department, which was represented by Mr S. Mays, from the Crown Solicitor's office. MiMays stated that the man had voluntarily given himself up, and he did not for a heavy penalty.
